It is a movement and scene research project, which was born in 2014 in the city of Córdoba, Argentina. The project, located within the independent dance circuit of Córdoba, aims to search for new languages and materials to approach the body, movement and the contemporary scene.
Among its main interests are:
1) Generate a space for meeting and collective work
2) Promote a space for training and research of the movement
3) Generate a space for crossing languages / and disciplines within the social – cultural – artistic medium (or media).
Since 2015 the project has been working on the piece titled:
“CELLS. Transparent skin”
// Contemporary dance piece //
How to dance the cellular? How do we get to that place where the minimum uncovers the maximum?
Where the why of why we are united appears unfolded in a gesture, in a form, in the estrangement of the world before the eyes of the other.
How to melt/confuse the sticky and porous mass from which we unravel our today and our history?
How to make it a dance so cold and distant that it puts us once again as the protagonists of the ground itself?
And in that soil, how and where can we find the living nature of which we are made?
Our skin forgets…
The scarcity and abundance of nature in this contemporary era.
